Question 1

What do left front 2020 TESLA MODEL Y models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 20 recorded sales of the 2020 TESLA MODEL Y with left front damage, the median was $7,925, from $3,800 to $11,175. That is 2% above the $7,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,800 a good price for this 2020 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

1094 comparable 2020 TESLA MODEL Y listings sold at auction for a median of $7,800, spanning $4,800 to $11,300. At $12,800 this one went 64% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 TESLA MODEL Y was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this TESLA MODEL Y from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MI - BYRON CENTER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 38,227 miles high for a 2020 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 TESLA MODEL Y listings at auction averaged 74,309 miles across 1094 sales, so at 38,227 miles this one sits 49% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 TESLA MODEL Y. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
