Question 1

What do left front 2020 TESLA MODEL Y models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 20 recorded sales of the 2020 TESLA MODEL Y with left front damage, the median was $7,925, from $3,800 to $11,175. That is 2% above the $7,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,600 a good price for this 2020 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

1068 comparable 2020 TESLA MODEL Y listings sold at auction for a median of $7,800, spanning $4,800 to $11,300. At $8,600 this one went 10% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TESLA MODEL Y sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 TESLA MODEL Y was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 TESLA MODEL Y. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 106,174 miles high for a 2020 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 TESLA MODEL Y listings at auction averaged 74,396 miles across 1068 sales, so at 106,174 miles this one sits 43% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
