Question 1

What do flood 2023 TESLA MODEL Y models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 23 recorded sales of the 2023 TESLA MODEL Y with flood damage, the median was $13,200, from $7,150 to $16,600. That is 22% above the $10,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This TESLA MODEL Y sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 TESLA MODEL Y was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this TESLA MODEL Y from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NJ - PORT MURRAY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 41,024 miles high for a 2023 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 TESLA MODEL Y listings at auction averaged 37,580 miles across 7983 sales, so at 41,024 miles this one sits 9% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 7SAYGDEE9PF864862?

Accepted Answer

For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
