Question 1

What do front end 2026 TESLA MODEL Y models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1198 recorded sales of the 2026 TESLA MODEL Y with front end damage, the median was $16,900, from $9,600 to $23,500. That is 3% below the $17,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2026 TESLA MODEL Y. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This TESLA MODEL Y has front end and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 11,090 miles high for a 2026 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2026 TESLA MODEL Y listings at auction averaged 7,976 miles across 2587 sales, so at 11,090 miles this one sits 39% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2026 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2026 TESLA MODEL Y from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2026 TESLA MODEL Y was listed at IAAI as lot 46338693 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
