What do side 2025 TESLA MODEL Y models sell for?

Across 191 recorded sales of the 2025 TESLA MODEL Y with side damage, the median was $13,550, from $8,800 to $18,500. That is 6% above the $12,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $13,700 a good price for this 2025 TESLA MODEL Y?

1869 comparable 2025 TESLA MODEL Y listings sold at auction for a median of $12,800, spanning $7,000 to $18,150. At $13,700 this one went 7% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this TESLA MODEL Y sell for?

The insurer put this 2025 TESLA MODEL Y's pre-damage retail value at $41,338. It sold for $13,700 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 TESLA MODEL Y. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

How far is this TESLA MODEL Y from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in CA - RANCHO CUCAMONGA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 238 miles high for a 2025 TESLA MODEL Y?

Comparable 2025 TESLA MODEL Y listings at auction averaged 15,072 miles across 1869 sales, so at 238 miles this one sits 98% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
