Question 1

What do front end 2023 TESLA MODEL Y models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 3603 recorded sales of the 2023 TESLA MODEL Y with front end damage, the median was $10,400, from $6,000 to $15,100. That is 5% below the $10,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This TESLA MODEL Y sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this TESLA MODEL Y from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - ELGIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 TESLA MODEL Y. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 77,129 miles high for a 2023 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 TESLA MODEL Y listings at auction averaged 38,271 miles across 8448 sales, so at 77,129 miles this one sits 102% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Accepted Answer
