What do front end 2023 TESLA MODEL Y models sell for?

Across 3532 recorded sales of the 2023 TESLA MODEL Y with front end damage, the median was $10,400, from $5,900 to $15,100. That is 4% below the $10,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $11,200 a good price for this 2023 TESLA MODEL Y?

8284 comparable 2023 TESLA MODEL Y listings sold at auction for a median of $10,850, spanning $6,100 to $15,700. At $11,200 this one went 3% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this TESLA MODEL Y sell for?

The insurer put this 2023 TESLA MODEL Y's pre-damage retail value at $38,407. It sold for $11,200 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

How far is this TESLA MODEL Y from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in IL - CHICAGO HEIGHTS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does a salvage title mean for this TESLA MODEL Y?

This 2023 TESLA MODEL Y was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Is 11,165 miles high for a 2023 TESLA MODEL Y?

Comparable 2023 TESLA MODEL Y listings at auction averaged 37,963 miles across 8284 sales, so at 11,165 miles this one sits 71% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
