Question 1

What does a clear mean for this TESLA MODEL X?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 TESLA MODEL X was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 2

How far is this TESLA MODEL X from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - WILMINGTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

This TESLA MODEL X has front & rear and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 86,010 miles high for a 2016 TESLA MODEL X?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 TESLA MODEL X listings at auction averaged 105,899 miles across 634 sales, so at 86,010 miles this one sits 19% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2016 TESLA MODEL X come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front & rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 TESLA MODEL X from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 TESLA MODEL X was listed at IAAI as lot 40874457 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
