What do front end 2021 TESLA MODEL S models sell for?

Across 210 recorded sales of the 2021 TESLA MODEL S with front end damage, the median was $12,550, from $6,200 to $19,500. That is 8% below the $13,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $28,500 a good price for this 2021 TESLA MODEL S?

503 comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL S listings sold at auction for a median of $13,600, spanning $6,600 to $21,350. At $28,500 this one went 110% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this TESLA MODEL S sell for?

The insurer put this 2021 TESLA MODEL S's pre-damage retail value at $69,049. It sold for $28,500 — 59% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage title mean for this TESLA MODEL S?

This 2021 TESLA MODEL S was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 TESLA MODEL S. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

How far is this TESLA MODEL S from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in CA - LOS ANGELES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
