Question 1

What do rear end 2021 TESLA MODEL S models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 38 recorded sales of the 2021 TESLA MODEL S with rear end damage, the median was $13,300, from $6,700 to $23,000. That is 1% below the $13,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this TESLA MODEL S?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 TESLA MODEL S was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this TESLA MODEL S from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in AZ - PHOENIX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 380 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $325-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 TESLA MODEL S. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 53,961 miles high for a 2021 TESLA MODEL S?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL S listings at auction averaged 52,996 miles across 493 sales, so at 53,961 miles this one sits 2% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2021 TESLA MODEL S come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
