Question 1

What do left side 2017 TESLA MODEL S models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 27 recorded sales of the 2017 TESLA MODEL S with left side damage, the median was $5,738, from $3,650 to $9,850. That is 4% below the $6,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This TESLA MODEL S sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this TESLA MODEL S from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NJ - ENGLISHTOWN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 111,967 miles high for a 2017 TESLA MODEL S?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 TESLA MODEL S listings at auction averaged 96,338 miles across 875 sales, so at 111,967 miles this one sits 16% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5YJSA1E26HF230869?

Accepted Answer

5YJSA1E26HF230869 identifies this specific 2017 TESLA MODEL S in black with a electric engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 TESLA MODEL S from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 TESLA MODEL S was listed at IAAI as lot 45678617 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
