Question 1

What do rear 2020 TESLA MODEL 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 141 recorded sales of the 2020 TESLA MODEL 3 with rear damage, the median was $6,213, from $3,750 to $8,750. That is 4% above the $6,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,150 a good price for this 2020 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

3045 comparable 2020 TESLA MODEL 3 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,000, spanning $3,700 to $8,950. At $6,150 this one went 3% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TESLA MODEL 3 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 TESLA MODEL 3. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This TESLA MODEL 3 has rear and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 34,123 miles high for a 2020 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 TESLA MODEL 3 listings at auction averaged 76,637 miles across 3045 sales, so at 34,123 miles this one sits 55% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
