Question 1

What do flood 2023 TESLA MODEL 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2023 TESLA MODEL 3 with flood damage, the median was $7,500, from $4,550 to $10,099. That is 1% below the $7,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This TESLA MODEL 3 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

This TESLA MODEL 3 has flood and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 38,950 miles high for a 2023 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 TESLA MODEL 3 listings at auction averaged 41,776 miles across 6773 sales, so at 38,950 miles this one sits 7% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5YJ3E1EA2PF653477?

Accepted Answer

5YJ3E1EA2PF653477 identifies this specific 2023 TESLA MODEL 3 in blue with a electric engine, rear wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2023 TESLA MODEL 3 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2023 TESLA MODEL 3 was listed at IAAI as lot 46182382 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
