Question 1

What do rear 2023 TESLA MODEL 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 275 recorded sales of the 2023 TESLA MODEL 3 with rear damage, the median was $8,000, from $4,550 to $11,750. That is 7% above the $7,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,500 a good price for this 2023 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

6677 comparable 2023 TESLA MODEL 3 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,500, spanning $4,350 to $11,200. At $8,500 this one went 13% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 TESLA MODEL 3 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this TESLA MODEL 3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in AZ - JUPITER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 380 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $325-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 29,795 miles high for a 2023 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 TESLA MODEL 3 listings at auction averaged 41,564 miles across 6677 sales, so at 29,795 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2023 TESLA MODEL 3 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
