Question 1

What do front end 2026 TESLA MODEL 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 185 recorded sales of the 2026 TESLA MODEL 3 with front end damage, the median was $13,350, from $8,900 to $17,900. That is 5% below the $13,988 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This TESLA MODEL 3 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

This TESLA MODEL 3 has front end and rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 8,935 miles high for a 2026 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2026 TESLA MODEL 3 listings at auction averaged 4,061 miles across 375 sales, so at 8,935 miles this one sits 120% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2026 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 5YJ3E1EA7TF118879?

Accepted Answer

5YJ3E1EA7TF118879 identifies this specific 2026 TESLA MODEL 3 in red with a electric engine, rear wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
