Question 1

What do left side 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 141 recorded sales of the 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 with left side damage, the median was $6,775, from $3,900 to $9,300. That is 3% above the $6,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This TESLA MODEL 3 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

Is 72,066 miles high for a 2021 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 listings at auction averaged 65,117 miles across 4004 sales, so at 72,066 miles this one sits 11% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2021 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5YJ3E1EC1MF990879?

Accepted Answer

5YJ3E1EC1MF990879 identifies this specific 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 in black with a electric engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 was listed at IAAI as lot 46267546 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
