Question 1

This TESLA MODEL 3 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 TESLA MODEL 3 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this TESLA MODEL 3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NV - MCCARRAN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This TESLA MODEL 3 has roof and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 6,737 miles high for a 2024 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 TESLA MODEL 3 listings at auction averaged 18,344 miles across 2457 sales, so at 6,737 miles this one sits 63% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 5YJ3E1ET9RF825797?

Accepted Answer

5YJ3E1ET9RF825797 identifies this specific 2024 TESLA MODEL 3 in black with a electric engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
