Question 1

What do front end 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1350 recorded sales of the 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 with front end damage, the median was $5,100, from $3,350 to $7,400. That is 4% below the $5,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,800 a good price for this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

3526 comparable 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,300, spanning $3,500 to $7,900. At $4,800 this one went 9% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Who sold this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was MERCURY INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 was listed at IAAI as lot 46183822 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
