Question 1

Was $7,500 a good price for this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

3547 comparable 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,300, spanning $3,500 to $7,900. At $7,500 this one went 42% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this TESLA MODEL 3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in PA - YORKTOWN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 90,486 miles high for a 2018 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 listings at auction averaged 88,676 miles across 3547 sales, so at 90,486 miles this one sits 2% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This TESLA MODEL 3 has electrical and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Did this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with electrical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
