Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $5,013, from $3,950 to $7,150. That is 5% below the $5,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,950 a good price for this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

3547 comparable 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,300, spanning $3,500 to $7,900. At $3,950 this one went 25% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this TESLA MODEL 3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - GRAND PRAIRIE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 120,975 miles high for a 2018 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 listings at auction averaged 88,676 miles across 3547 sales, so at 120,975 miles this one sits 36% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 was listed at IAAI as lot 44347759 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
