Question 1

What do front end 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1355 recorded sales of the 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 with front end damage, the median was $5,100, from $3,350 to $7,400. That is 4% below the $5,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,625 a good price for this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

3547 comparable 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,300, spanning $3,500 to $7,900. At $6,625 this one went 25% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 40,209 miles high for a 2018 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 listings at auction averaged 88,676 miles across 3547 sales, so at 40,209 miles this one sits 55% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Who sold this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
