Question 1

What do mechanical 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 21 recorded sales of the 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 with mechanical damage, the median was $5,700, from $4,350 to $6,600. That is 14% below the $6,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,450 a good price for this 2021 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

3957 comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,600, spanning $3,850 to $9,900. At $4,450 this one went 33% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TESLA MODEL 3 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 72,518 miles high for a 2021 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 listings at auction averaged 64,965 miles across 3957 sales, so at 72,518 miles this one sits 12% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How much below its undamaged value did this TESLA MODEL 3 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 TESLA MODEL 3's pre-damage retail value at $26,375. It sold for $4,450 — 83% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.
