Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $7,000, from $4,950 to $8,550. That is 6% above the $6,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This TESLA MODEL 3 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this TESLA MODEL 3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NC - KANNAPOLIS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 TESLA MODEL 3. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 65,042 miles high for a 2021 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 listings at auction averaged 64,398 miles across 3815 sales, so at 65,042 miles this one sits 1% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 was listed at IAAI as lot 42955529 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
