Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 83 recorded sales of the 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $7,850, from $5,300 to $11,500. That is 19% above the $6,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,700 a good price for this 2021 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

3935 comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,600, spanning $3,850 to $9,950. At $8,700 this one went 32% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TESLA MODEL 3 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

How far is this TESLA MODEL 3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - ORLANDO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 116,368 miles high for a 2021 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL 3 listings at auction averaged 64,922 miles across 3935 sales, so at 116,368 miles this one sits 79% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
