Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 79 recorded sales of the 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $6,350, from $3,750 to $10,200. That is 20% above the $5,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,900 a good price for this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

3556 comparable 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,300, spanning $3,500 to $7,900. At $7,900 this one went 49% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this TESLA MODEL 3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TN - MADISONVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 400 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $350-$475, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 113,965 miles high for a 2018 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 listings at auction averaged 88,713 miles across 3556 sales, so at 113,965 miles this one sits 28% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2018 TESLA MODEL 3?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
