Question 1

What do mechanical 2017 NISSAN ROGUE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2017 NISSAN ROGUE with mechanical damage, the median was $3,525, from $3,100 to $4,750. That is 2% below the $3,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,100 a good price for this 2017 NISSAN ROGUE?

Accepted Answer

2629 comparable 2017 NISSAN ROGUE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,600, spanning $3,050 to $4,950. At $3,100 this one went 14% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this NISSAN ROGUE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 NISSAN ROGUE's pre-damage retail value at $13,000. It sold for $3,100 — 76% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this NISSAN ROGUE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 NISSAN ROGUE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 208,344 miles high for a 2017 NISSAN ROGUE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 NISSAN ROGUE listings at auction averaged 88,014 miles across 2629 sales, so at 208,344 miles this one sits 137% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This NISSAN ROGUE has mechanical and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
