Question 1

Was $3,275 a good price for this 2017 NISSAN ROGUE?

Accepted Answer

2639 comparable 2017 NISSAN ROGUE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,600, spanning $3,050 to $4,950. At $3,275 this one went 9% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this NISSAN ROGUE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 NISSAN ROGUE was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this NISSAN ROGUE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MI - APPLETON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 NISSAN ROGUE. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 79,602 miles high for a 2017 NISSAN ROGUE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 NISSAN ROGUE listings at auction averaged 87,964 miles across 2639 sales, so at 79,602 miles this one sits 10% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 NISSAN ROGUE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
