Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2016 NISSAN ROGUE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 35 recorded sales of the 2016 NISSAN ROGUE with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,375, from $3,000 to $4,150. That is 4% below the $3,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,150 a good price for this 2016 NISSAN ROGUE?

Accepted Answer

654 comparable 2016 NISSAN ROGUE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,500, spanning $3,050 to $4,650. At $3,150 this one went 10% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this NISSAN ROGUE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 NISSAN ROGUE's pre-damage retail value at $7,640. It sold for $3,150 — 59% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 NISSAN ROGUE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a clean title mean for this NISSAN ROGUE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 NISSAN ROGUE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 73,825 miles high for a 2016 NISSAN ROGUE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 NISSAN ROGUE listings at auction averaged 85,443 miles across 654 sales, so at 73,825 miles this one sits 14% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
