Question 1

What do rear 2021 NISSAN MURANO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 19 recorded sales of the 2021 NISSAN MURANO with rear damage, the median was $4,525, from $3,450 to $7,025. That is 1% below the $4,575 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this NISSAN MURANO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MI - BELLEVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 NISSAN MURANO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 147,290 miles high for a 2021 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 NISSAN MURANO listings at auction averaged 64,327 miles across 596 sales, so at 147,290 miles this one sits 129% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2021 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 5N1AZ2BS4MC122901?

Accepted Answer

5N1AZ2BS4MC122901 identifies this specific 2021 NISSAN MURANO in blue with a 3.5l v-6 dohc, vvt, 260hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
