Question 1

What do right front 2017 NISSAN MURANO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 19 recorded sales of the 2017 NISSAN MURANO with right front damage, the median was $3,363, from $3,025 to $4,225. That is 8% below the $3,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,650 a good price for this 2017 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

538 comparable 2017 NISSAN MURANO listings sold at auction for a median of $3,650, spanning $3,050 to $5,600. At $3,650 this one went exactly at that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 NISSAN MURANO was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this NISSAN MURANO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - SAN ANTONIO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 NISSAN MURANO. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 96,847 miles high for a 2017 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 NISSAN MURANO listings at auction averaged 91,311 miles across 538 sales, so at 96,847 miles this one sits 6% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
