Question 1

What do rear end 2020 NISSAN MURANO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 74 recorded sales of the 2020 NISSAN MURANO with rear end damage, the median was $4,600, from $3,250 to $7,200. That is 8% above the $4,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,750 a good price for this 2020 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

865 comparable 2020 NISSAN MURANO listings sold at auction for a median of $4,250, spanning $3,200 to $6,700. At $3,750 this one went 12% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this NISSAN MURANO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 NISSAN MURANO's pre-damage retail value at $19,944. It sold for $3,750 — 81% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 NISSAN MURANO. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 48,753 miles high for a 2020 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 NISSAN MURANO listings at auction averaged 71,187 miles across 865 sales, so at 48,753 miles this one sits 32% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This NISSAN MURANO has rear end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
