Question 1

What do hail 2016 NISSAN MURANO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 21 recorded sales of the 2016 NISSAN MURANO with hail damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,050 to $5,000. That is 11% above the $3,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This NISSAN MURANO sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a mb-write off (hail)-manitoba mean for this NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 NISSAN MURANO was sold on a mb-write off (hail)-manitoba. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 NISSAN MURANO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 148,203 miles high for a 2016 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 NISSAN MURANO listings at auction averaged 92,781 miles across 291 sales, so at 148,203 miles this one sits 60% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Where was this NISSAN MURANO located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in MANITOBA - VIRDEN. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
