Question 1

Was $3,650 a good price for this 2017 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

550 comparable 2017 NISSAN MURANO listings sold at auction for a median of $3,650, spanning $3,050 to $5,600. At $3,650 this one went exactly at that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this NISSAN MURANO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 NISSAN MURANO's pre-damage retail value at $17,925. It sold for $3,650 — 80% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a cert of title slvg rebuildable mean for this NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 NISSAN MURANO was sold on a cert of title slvg rebuildable. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this NISSAN MURANO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - FORT PIERCE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 47,068 miles high for a 2017 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 NISSAN MURANO listings at auction averaged 91,022 miles across 550 sales, so at 47,068 miles this one sits 48% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 NISSAN MURANO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
