Question 1

What do rear end 2023 NISSAN MURANO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 51 recorded sales of the 2023 NISSAN MURANO with rear end damage, the median was $6,700, from $4,550 to $9,900. That is 12% above the $6,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,600 a good price for this 2023 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

700 comparable 2023 NISSAN MURANO listings sold at auction for a median of $6,000, spanning $3,550 to $14,100. At $8,600 this one went 43% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this NISSAN MURANO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 NISSAN MURANO's pre-damage retail value at $32,387. It sold for $8,600 — 73% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 NISSAN MURANO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 NISSAN MURANO was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 15,429 miles high for a 2023 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 NISSAN MURANO listings at auction averaged 42,616 miles across 700 sales, so at 15,429 miles this one sits 64% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
