Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2024 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 35 recorded sales of the 2024 NISSAN ALTIMA with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $11,300, from $4,300 to $14,850. That is 59% above the $7,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,600 a good price for this 2024 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

4868 comparable 2024 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $7,100, spanning $4,150 to $11,700. At $8,600 this one went 21% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This NISSAN ALTIMA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 NISSAN ALTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a clear mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 55,692 miles high for a 2024 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 34,962 miles across 4868 sales, so at 55,692 miles this one sits 59% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
