Question 1

What do front end 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1586 recorded sales of the 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA with front end damage, the median was $4,450, from $3,275 to $6,200. That is 4% below the $4,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,950 a good price for this 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

3604 comparable 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $4,650, spanning $3,300 to $7,100. At $3,950 this one went 15% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This NISSAN ALTIMA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

How far is this NISSAN ALTIMA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MD - DUNDALK. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 74,836 miles high for a 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 62,650 miles across 3604 sales, so at 74,836 miles this one sits 19% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
