Question 1

What do front & rear 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 75 recorded sales of the 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA with front & rear damage, the median was $5,363, from $3,500 to $8,800. That is 14% below the $6,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,325 a good price for this 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

4566 comparable 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $6,200, spanning $3,850 to $10,100. At $3,325 this one went 46% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This NISSAN ALTIMA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a mv-907a-ny mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a mv-907a-ny. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 5

How far is this NISSAN ALTIMA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - STATEN ISLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 14,799 miles high for a 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 49,841 miles across 4566 sales, so at 14,799 miles this one sits 70% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
