Question 1

What do front end 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1651 recorded sales of the 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA with front end damage, the median was $4,450, from $3,300 to $6,200. That is 3% below the $4,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,550 a good price for this 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

3727 comparable 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $4,600, spanning $3,300 to $7,100. At $3,550 this one went 23% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this NISSAN ALTIMA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - SCHENECTADY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 60,880 miles high for a 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 62,882 miles across 3727 sales, so at 60,880 miles this one sits 3% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
