Question 1

What do front end 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2515 recorded sales of the 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA with front end damage, the median was $3,850, from $3,150 to $5,300. That is 3% below the $3,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,500 a good price for this 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

5454 comparable 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,950, spanning $3,150 to $5,675. At $4,500 this one went 14% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This NISSAN ALTIMA has front end and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this NISSAN ALTIMA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in LA - CARVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 84,580 miles high for a 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 89,818 miles across 5454 sales, so at 84,580 miles this one sits 6% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
