Question 1

What do left front 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 105 recorded sales of the 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA with left front damage, the median was $3,850, from $3,100 to $5,350. That is 3% below the $3,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,975 a good price for this 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

5193 comparable 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,950, spanning $3,150 to $5,700. At $5,975 this one went 51% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This NISSAN ALTIMA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a clear mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 146,921 miles high for a 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 89,660 miles across 5193 sales, so at 146,921 miles this one sits 64% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
