Question 1

What do water/flood 2021 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 25 recorded sales of the 2021 NISSAN ALTIMA with water/flood damage, the median was $4,575, from $3,500 to $6,700. That is 6% above the $4,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,650 a good price for this 2021 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

3257 comparable 2021 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $4,300, spanning $3,200 to $6,300. At $4,650 this one went 8% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this NISSAN ALTIMA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 NISSAN ALTIMA's pre-damage retail value at $13,933. It sold for $4,650 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 NISSAN ALTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 117,163 miles high for a 2021 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 78,375 miles across 3257 sales, so at 117,163 miles this one sits 49% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
