Question 1

What do mechanical 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA with mechanical damage, the median was $3,800, from $3,250 to $4,700. That is 4% below the $3,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a dis/dlr/exp only clean title mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a dis/dlr/exp only clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this NISSAN ALTIMA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SACRAMENTO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Who sold this 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was HERTZ. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Is 97,621 miles high for a 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 89,679 miles across 5291 sales, so at 97,621 miles this one sits 9% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
