Question 1

What do hail 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 85 recorded sales of the 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA with hail damage, the median was $9,600, from $6,200 to $12,650. That is 55% above the $6,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,450 a good price for this 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

4563 comparable 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $6,200, spanning $3,850 to $10,100. At $9,450 this one went 52% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 72,599 miles high for a 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 49,841 miles across 4563 sales, so at 72,599 miles this one sits 46% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This NISSAN ALTIMA has hail and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
