Question 1

What do front end 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2451 recorded sales of the 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA with front end damage, the median was $3,850, from $3,150 to $5,300. That is 3% below the $3,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,900 a good price for this 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

5317 comparable 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,950, spanning $3,150 to $5,700. At $4,900 this one went 24% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this NISSAN ALTIMA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA's pre-damage retail value at $14,447. It sold for $4,900 — 66% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This NISSAN ALTIMA has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 135,235 miles high for a 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 89,703 miles across 5317 sales, so at 135,235 miles this one sits 51% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
