Question 1

What do side 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 363 recorded sales of the 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA with side damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,150 to $5,500. That is 1% above the $3,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,900 a good price for this 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

4512 comparable 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,950, spanning $3,150 to $5,500. At $4,900 this one went 24% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this NISSAN ALTIMA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA's pre-damage retail value at $13,710. It sold for $4,900 — 64% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This NISSAN ALTIMA has side and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 78,065 miles high for a 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 98,821 miles across 4512 sales, so at 78,065 miles this one sits 21% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
