Question 1

What do rear end 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 658 recorded sales of the 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA with rear end damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,200 to $5,400. That is 1% above the $3,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,700 a good price for this 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

4536 comparable 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,950, spanning $3,150 to $5,500. At $3,700 this one went 6% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This NISSAN ALTIMA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this NISSAN ALTIMA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA's pre-damage retail value at $8,877. It sold for $3,700 — 58% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

Is 153,993 miles high for a 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 98,832 miles across 4536 sales, so at 153,993 miles this one sits 56% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
