Question 1

What do undercarriage 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 29 recorded sales of the 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA with undercarriage damage, the median was $4,050, from $3,100 to $4,800. That is 4% above the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,600 a good price for this 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

4666 comparable 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,150 to $5,500. At $4,600 this one went 18% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this NISSAN ALTIMA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA's pre-damage retail value at $10,201. It sold for $4,600 — 55% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 137,452 miles high for a 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 99,060 miles across 4666 sales, so at 137,452 miles this one sits 39% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
