Question 1

What do water/flood 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 28 recorded sales of the 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA with water/flood damage, the median was $3,600, from $3,050 to $5,700. That is 9% below the $3,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,700 a good price for this 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

5267 comparable 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,950, spanning $3,150 to $5,700. At $5,700 this one went 44% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this NISSAN ALTIMA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA's pre-damage retail value at $23,047. It sold for $5,700 — 75% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 3,238 miles high for a 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 89,703 miles across 5267 sales, so at 3,238 miles this one sits 96% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
