Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 17 recorded sales of the 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,450, from $3,000 to $4,350. That is 1% above the $3,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,050 a good price for this 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

347 comparable 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,400, spanning $3,000 to $4,450. At $3,050 this one went 10% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

This NISSAN ALTIMA has minor dent/scratches and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this NISSAN ALTIMA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - GRAND PRAIRIE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 92,539 miles high for a 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 82,050 miles across 347 sales, so at 92,539 miles this one sits 13% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
