Question 1

This NISSAN ALTIMA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a qc-v.g.a-quebec mean for this NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA was sold on a qc-v.g.a-quebec. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

Is 108,740 miles high for a 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA listings at auction averaged 81,009 miles across 593 sales, so at 108,740 miles this one sits 34% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this NISSAN ALTIMA located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in QUEBEC - ST-EUSTACHE. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 1N4AL3AP6HN340072?

Accepted Answer

1N4AL3AP6HN340072 identifies this specific 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA in black with a 2.5l i4 fi dohc 16v nf4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 NISSAN ALTIMA was listed at IAAI as lot 12538059 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
